Alton Williams – Chairman, Treasurer
Alton was born in, Winter park memorial hospital a twin, attended the historical Rosenwald Elementary School in Altamonte Springs, Florida. A graduate of Lyman High School, and attended Seminole Community College in Business Administration. Background and expertise in management of purchasing, supply, personnel and mail-room functions. Successfully developed a new business involving scheduling, client relations, vendor relations, and inventory.
Worked in management for a service oriented company which employed 700 employees. In charge of Purchasing and Supply. Area of responsibility included seven out-of-state operations. Supervised a staff of 12 employees. Responsibilities included training of staff, establishment of postal and supply procedures, inventory control, vendor relations, purchasing equipment and supplies, distribution records, print shop liaison, storage of microfilm, fils, supplies, and records. Managed a postal budget of $25,000 monthly.
Successfully build his own business Odds & Ends Cleaning Services, Inc, Longwood, Florida. He came to the cemetery in 1998-1999 to restore the nearly 100-year-old cemetery on south cypress way in Casselberry Florida.
He was hoping to transform the neglected cemetery into a beautiful place, once the cemetery is cleaned and professionally landscaped, and the name changed other plans include constructing a net-work of walking paths and installing lighting and benches he would also like to have arbor areas throughout the cemetery.
Carolyn J. Baldwin – Director
Carolyn J. Baldwin was born in Sanford, Seminole County, Florida, and raised in Altamonte Springs, Seminole County, Florida.
She began her education at the historical Rosenwald Elementary in Altamonte Springs, Seminole County, Florida. Before moving on to South Seminole Middle School in Casselberry, Florida, and Central Adult High School in Sanford, Seminole County, Florida.
After relocating to Maryland, she gained employment at Gallaudet University. Later, pursuing degrees from higher education, she earned an Associate of Science degree in Secondary Education from Prince George’s Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Maryland, University College, and completed her Master of Social Work degree at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C.
Carolyn retired in 2016 from Gallaudet University, where she supported the University President, Executive Director of Information Technology, and the Psychology Department Chair, and several psychologists. Following retirement, she returned to Florida to reside with her husband, Ronald Baldwin, in Leesburg, Florida. Together, they raised two children, Tericka and D’Ron, have four beautiful granddaughters (Jayda, Sydney, Kendyl, and Carmen), and one furry baby, Kiry. Carolyn and Ron were married for 45 years until his passing on January 3, 2025.
Now living in Leesburg and adjusting to life without her beloved husband, Carolyn has decided to start giving back to her community. To dedicate some of her time working with the Evergreen Cemetery Trustees, helping to preserve and enhance the historic site.
Cora J. Snead – Secretary
Cora Snead was born in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She is a resident of Altamonte Springs. Her entire primary and secondary education was done in the Seminole County public school system. She attended first through eighth grades at Seminole Rosenwald Elementary in Altamonte Springs, Fl. She graduated Crooms High in 1959.
She graduated from Fisk University, Nashville, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1963, and received a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from Rollins College in Winter Park, FLorida. Her teaching career began in Seminole County in 1965, and she continued to teach in Seminole County until her retirement in July of 2002.
Cora has been married since 1964. They have two children, Caren Janee, and Paul III. She is a member of Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, and the Links, Incorporated and also a board member of EverGreen Cemetery.

No percent of any contribution is retained by a professional solicitor as all fund raising is managed within the Corporation. Conversely, 100% of all funds raised are retained y the Corporation. Michael Brunscheen – Director
Michael “Mike” Brunscheen has lived in Seminole County the last 18 years and has been an Altamonte Springs resident over 13.
Mike met his beloved wife Kelly in Altamonte Springs in 2012, and they married 4 years later. Since then, the Brunscheen family has grown to include 2 young boys and recently a mischievous lab mix. The family can be found at the beach, swimming, fishing, and enjoying all that our great state has to offer.
In 2022 Mike was elected to Altamonte Springs City Commission District 2. Leading up to his race for commission, Mike sat on multiple boards with the city over 5 years, chaired one, and vice chaired 2. Part of Mike’s passion for service and involvement was inspired by his Great Grandfather who emigrated from Germany to Iowa to avoid World War 1, he helped lay the cornerstone of the local church, and took an active part in government as a councilman. Mike also draws inspiration from his 2 young sons and started his journey in local government when his oldest Son asked, “Why does the sidewalk end here?”
Mike’s involvement with the EverGreen Cemetery is linked to his interest in genealogy and knowing some of the challenges faced by the small cemetery most of his family has been laid to rest in Iowa. Mike wants to make sure everyone has the opportunity for a dignified burial and undisturbed final resting place. Mike believes that while our past does not define us, it can help guide us to a better future.
